Positive Crankcase Ventilation: Procedures

Crankcase ventilation, cleaning

Note! Some variation in the illustrations may occur, but the essential information is always correct.

Removing

Remove the screws, x 10, at the intake pipe mating flange.
Lift off the upper section of the intake pipe.
Install999 5723 Cap See: Tools and Equipment/999 5723 Cap.

Remove:

-

the dipstick tube

-

the thick hoses, 2 x, from the T nipple.

Cleaning

Disconnect the hose with the T nipple from the intake pipe.
