Detach the rubber weatherstrips from the trunk lid opening.

Remove the trunk lid's sill trim panel. It is secured by two clips at the front edge (1) and two at the upper edge (2).

Remove the seat cushion (1) by pulling up its front edge, pulling it forwards and then lifting it out.

-

Detach the two connectors for seat heating underneath the seat cushion.
