Checking the DC plug
Measure the supply voltage between the metal casing on the outside and the inside of the DC plug connector. See positions E and F.
The voltage must be approximately 9 V.
Check the cable between the DC plug connector and the terminal for the transformer. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Note! The thin type probe must be used when taking readings from the DC plug. Otherwise the DC plug connector may be damaged or no
reading will be obtained (it will not be possible to connect the probe to the inside of the DC plug connector).
Remedy as necessary.
