V40 L4-1.9L Turbo VIN 25 B4204T2 (2000)
Clean the sensor seat of dirt and rust so that the sensor is in the correct position relative to the pulse wheel. Clean the pulse wheel using a soft brush.
Lightly grease the sensor. Clean the mounting surfaces so that the sensor can be fitted easily.
Thread the sensor cable through and install the sensor. Tightening torque 55 Nm.
Press the sensor cable into the support.
Installing wheel hub
Clean the stub axle and the hub.
Position the hub on the wheel spindle.
Install a new nut.

'98- 1 stage 120 Nm.
2 stage + 30° turn

Connecting the rear wheel sensor
Thread the sensor cable to the front and connect it to the connector.
Press the sensor cable into the supports.
Install protective cap (if working on the left side).
Checking correct operation of ABS system
Read out the DTCs.
Carry out a test-drive and check whether the ABS warning light goes out.
Read out and check whether there are any DTCs stored.

Note! A new drive shaft is always delivered with a pulse wheel.
Removing front brake caliper
Remove the wheel cover/cap, loosen the drive shaft nut. Support the car and remove the wheel.
Remove

the brake hose from the support.

the sensor cable from the supports.

the two bolts from the guide pins and take the caliper of, hang it on a steel wire to avoid damaging the brake hose.
