Remove the surround for the tailgate (carefully pull out the clips).

-

Disconnect the 4-pin connector

Remove the 10 mounting nuts. Carefully remove the entire tail lamp module from the tailgate.

Installing the tail lamps in the bodywork, 5 door models

Check the rubber gaskets
Hint: Install the rubber gaskets when installing the tail lamp module.

Install the tail lamp module. Tighten the mounting nuts by hand. Then tighten to  7.5 Nm. Start at the mounting nut in the middle

Install the 4-pin connector

-

Install the surround for the tailgate.

Check the function.

Model year 2000

Replace the tail lamps in the bodywork, 5 door
