Brake Light Switch: Procedures

Replacing stop (brake) lamp switch 

The stop (brake) light switch is located on the pedal box.

Remove: 

-

Disconnect the connector

-

unscrew the stop (brake) lamp switch (to the left)

Reinstall: 

-

Press the stop (brake) lamp switch as far into the clamp as possible (hold the pedal up).

-

Reconnect the connector.

Adjust: 

-

adjust by turning the stop (brake) lamp switch outwards.

Hint:  The stop (brake) lamp should light when the pedal has been depressed 5 mm.
