Removing/Installing Rear Seat Upholstery

Removing/Installing Rear Seat Upholstery 

Special Tools:  115 896

Removing/Installing Seat 

Removing: 

-

Fold the left and right seats forwards.

-

Remove the bolts from the hinges.

Installing: 

-

Place the seats and finger tighten the bolts.

-

Push hinge as far back as possible.

-

Tighten the bolts to 23 Nm.

Replacing Seat Upholstery 

-

Remove the seat from the car.

Removing Upholstery 

-

Unzip the upholstery L and R.

-

Pull the upholstery lining over the hinges.

-

Fold the upholstery back.

-

Pull the upholstery back at the front (remove the clamps).

-

If present: remove the child seat.
