Ignition off.
Check that fuse 24 in the integrated relay / fusebox in the engine compartment is intact.
Check that the bulbs for the tail lamps are intact.
Check the cable between fuse 24 and control module connector F terminal #8 (#B8). Check the cable between control module connector B1 terminal #2
(#A32) and left and right tail lamps terminal #2.3. Check for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault See:

Check the ground leads from each tail lamp. Check for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault See: Powertrain

Check the cable between control module connector B1 terminal #2 (#A32) and left and right tail lamps terminal #2.3, rear side marker lamps terminal #1
