Tailgate lock mechanism

Removing the lock mechanism for the tailgate

Remove:

-

the panel according to  Tailgate panel  

-

the control rod from the lock by pressing the pin out

-

the three screws (A)

-

the lock mechanism

-

the connectors.

Installing the lock mechanism for the tailgate

Transfer the control rod when replacing the lock mechanism.

Install:

-

the connectors

-

the lock mechanism

-

the three screws (A). Tighten to  10 Nm

-

the control rod. Press the pin in.

Check the function.

Note! Adjusting the control rod: remove the control rod by the lock. Press the lock cylinder as far to the right as possible so that the control rod
can be pulled out as far as possible. Install the control rod on the lock.

Install the panel according to  Tailgate panel .
