Control unit, replacing/installing

Removal

Preparatory work

 General

Before replacing the control unit and/or the motor for the sun roof, the following components must be removed or disconnected.
 Remove:

-

The panel for the A-pillar.

-

Sun visor on the right-hand side.

-

Both the supports for the sun visor.

-

The grab handle or panel to the right.

 Disconnect:

-

The panel unit for interior lighting.

-

Remove the headlining plug on the right-hand side and lift the headlining over the door molding.

-

Remove half the edge for the sun roof opening.
