Brake Fluid Reservoir: Service and Repair
Brake fluid reservoir, Remove/install
Preparations
Clean the engine space around the master cylinder.
Place cleaning rags around the master cylinder.
Drain the brake fluid reservoir.
LHD: Remove the connector support protective cap.
Diesel: Remove the engine cover.
Note! Try to avoid bleeding the brake system if it is not necessary to change the brake fluid.
Removing brake fluid reservoir
Remove
-
MT: the hose to the clutch cylinder, seal it off.

the brake fluid level sensor connector.

the retaining pin, use a 3 mm drift.
-
the brake fluid reservoir from the master cylinder.
-
the "O" rings from the master cylinder.
Note! The brake fluid reservoir can only be removed by first removing the retaining pin.
