Locate the 3 rubber dampers and the 2 mounting lugs.

Installation

Installing the hydraulic modulator and the control module

Carefully lift in the hydraulic modulator

-

Install the 3 rubber dampers and the 2 mounting lugs

-

Install the hydraulic modulator

-

Tighten the 2 nuts. Tighten to  25 Nm (E).

Assemble the connector for the control module (D)

-

Install the mounting clamps (B) for the brake pipes. Ensure that the brake pipes are correctly positioned in the rubber holder

-

Install the brake pipes. Tighten to  14 Nm (F)

-

Screw the fluid reservoir (C) for the power steering system into place

-

Install the hose mounting and hoses on the fender liner at the hydraulic modulator (A).

Wash away any spilled brake fluid with warm water and car shampoo.
Bleed the brake system according to  Bleeding brake system See: Brake Bleeding/Service and Repair 

Checks after finishing work

-

Read off and erase any diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)

-

Test drive the car according to  Test driving See: Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview 

-

Check whether any diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) have been stored.
