Removal

Remove the tailgate panel according to  Tailgate panel .

Remove:

-

the 8 or 10 nuts

-

4-pin connector.

Press in the two clips (A) if possible. Carefully press the unit out of the tailgate.

Installing the tail lamp unit in the tailgate

-

Check the rubber gasket

-

Reinstall the unit in the tailgate and tighten the 8 or 10 nuts by hand

-

Check that the clips (A) are properly secured

-

Tighten the nuts. Tighten to  7.5 Nm. Start from the nut in the center

-

Reinstall the panel according to  Tailgate panel .

Hint: Check and install the seal during assembly.

Check the function.
