Remove the canister purge (CP) valve, see Replacing the canister purge (CP) valve See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement

Disconnect the hose connections

Connect vacuum pump 999 5843 VACUUM PUMP AT See: Tools and Equipment/999 5843 Vacuum Pump AT to point B.
During pumping the vacuum meter should register under pressure. The pressure quickly returns to atmospheric pressure but during pumping a clear
resistance should be felt. Air is admitted in pulses (audible) via the other connection A.
