Crankcase Vent: Service and Repair

Crankcase Ventilation, Checking 

Cleaning The Crankcase Ventilation At The Cylinder Head 

Remove: 

-

the oil filler cap

-

Remove the engine cover

-

Disconnect the hose from the cylinder head and pull away from the mounting and the cylinder head

-

Clean the hose.

Grease the outside of the hose using petroleum jelly and insert it upside-down between the cylinder head and the mounting

Secure with a new hose clamp.
