Throttle Cable/Linkage: Adjustments
Checking/Adjusting The Throttle Pulley And Throttle Cable
Remove the throttle body cover.
The throttle pulley should move easily without sticking.
The cable should be taut in the idling position. It must not affect the position of the throttle pulley. The throttle pulley should move towards the idling
stop. Adjust the throttle cable sleeve if necessary.
Depress the accelerator pedal (AP) fully. Check that the throttle pulley is in contact with the wide open throttle stop.
Install the throttle body cover.
