Wastegate Actuator: Testing and Inspection
Checking And Adjusting The Boost Pressure Control (BPC) Valve On Turbocharger (TC)

999 5766
Manometer
-
Use manometer 999 5230 to measure the pressure whilst adjusting.
Connect the test equipment

Remove the turbocharger (TC) control valve from the air cleaner (ACL) housing

Remove the yellow marked hose (A) from the turbocharger (TC) control valve

Connect special tool 999 5230 and pressure regulator 999 5766 to the removed hose
-
Connect the workshop air supply to 999 5766.
Checking The Adjustment Of The Boost Press Control (BPC) Valve

Remove the heat shield from the exhaust manifold.

Turn the setting screw on special tool 999 5766 clockwise until the table is reached. Measure the stroke length of the pressure servo. Use a vernier
