Note! The pulley is left-hand threaded.

Clean the rotor shaft and the pulley

Install the pulley on the shaft

Screw the pulley (counter-clockwise) into place using counterhold 999 5760 Counterhold  See: Tools and Equipment/999 5760 Counterhold.
Counterhold the rotor shaft using socket 999 5761 Socket  See: Tools and Equipment/999 5761 Socket (Denso) or 951 2849 Twelve tooth spanner
M10  See: Tools and Equipment/951 2849 Twelve Tooth Spanner M10 (Bosch)

Tighten the pulley. Tighten to 80 Nm

Install the protective cover.

Checking the freewheel function (Poly v-belt removed)

Check the pulley freewheel as follows:
Rotate the pulley counter-clockwise and brake the pulley heavily.
The freewheel must grip the rotor shaft when it rotates counter-clockwise.
Stop the rotation.
When braking the pulley, the freewheel mechanism should must release so that the rotor shaft continues to rotate.
