Open the hood
Remove the engine cover, if applicable.
Gasoline engines:Remove the preheating hose, if applicable.
Does not apply to B4184SM/SJ:Remove the mounting nuts for the heat deflector plate. Remove the plate from the cowl panel.
Does not apply to B4184SM/SJ:Remove the heat deflector plate from the steering gear housing by removing the mounting screw and then pulling the
plate away from the steering gear housing (clamps). Move the heat deflector plate as far as possible to the side.
