Remove:

the wheel
-
the mounting nut (A) for the shock absorber and the nut (B) for the trailing arm
-
the screw for the trailing arm. Support the lower control arm if necessary
-
the screw for the shock absorber. Remove the shock absorber.
Assembling the special tool
Secure tool 951 2911 Hydraulic piston See: Tools and Equipment/951 2911 Hydraulic Piston in a vise.
Install both the spring holders 951 2912 Claw See: Tools and Equipment/951 2912 Claw.
Remove the catch. Raise the spring holders. Reinstall the catch. If necessary, remove the other holders first.

Equipment/999 5576 Hydraulic Pump to connecting hose 951 2915 Hydraulic hose See: Tools and Equipment/951 2915 Hydraulic Hose.
