Lubricate the edges of the new seal using automatic transmission fluid.
Install locating pin 999 5769 Pilot  See: Tools and Equipment/999 5769 Pilot.
Install the seal on the locating pin. Use drift  999 5771 Drift  See: Tools and Equipment/999 5771 Drift.
Tap in the seal until the drift is against the transmission.
Remove the locating pin.
Check the oil level according to  Checking and adjusting the oil, AW55-50/51SN See: Service and Repair/Procedures/Checking Oil Level.
Install the drive shaft according to  Drive shaft right-hand side, replace, AW55-50/51SN See: Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints/Axle Shaft
Assembly/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Drive Shaft Right-Hand Side, Replace.
Install the central front-rear member and cross stay.

Frame/Frame/Cross-Member/Front Cross-Member/Service and Repair.

Removing

Removing the transmission

Remove the transmission according to  Replacing the transmission, AW55-50/51SN See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Replacing The
Transmission.

Removing the torque converter

Pull the torque converter straight out of the transmission. Check the torque converter throat for damage.
