Knock the knob into place using a plastic mallet to avoid marking the knob.

Check

Function

Check that the lock arm does not catch on the gear sector when the lever is moved forwards and backwards

Start the engine.

Check that the catch for the retaining brake is functioning correctly by moving the lever into the retaining brake position and moving the gear selector
into the drive position (D).
The car must remain stationary.

Tightening torques

The screw for the brake and throttle arm must be tightened. Tighten to  8 Nm.

Note! Apply Loctite Normal to the screw

Removal

Remove the lamp holder from the lighting strip

Disconnect the connector from the winter mode switch
