Disconnect the door panel from the door. Carefully pry off the panel opposite the nine clips at the sides and bottom. Use a weatherstrip tool. Pull
the top edge of the panel until the five clips release. Press together the two catches (see inset) which hold the bracket for the treble loudspeaker to
the door. The door panel releases at this point

Unhook the door panel from the lock button.
Installing loudspeakers

Disconnect the connector (1) for the cable to the treble loudspeaker (if applicable)

Disconnect the connector (2) for the door opener

Disconnect the socket and mechanical cable (3) from the door opener

Place the door panel to one side.
Applies when installing new bass speakers

Disconnect the connector (4) from the loudspeaker

Drill out the rivets (5) from the existing loudspeaker. Use a 6 mm (1/4" ) diameter drill bit

Remove the loudspeakers. Remove any rivet swarf from the rivet holes

Remove any rivet swarf from the door

Install the new loudspeaker in the door. Use the rivets from the kit

Applies to cars with premium loudspeakers: Remove the blind cover plug over the existing rivet hole (6). Rivet the fourth hole for the premium
loudspeaker in this

Connect the connector to the loudspeaker.
