Front Door Window Motor: Service and Repair

Electric motor, lift mechanism, front door

Removal

Removing the electric motor for the power window mechanism

Caution! The control module and the electric motor may not be parted.

Remove:

-

the door panel.  See: Front Door Panel/Service and Repair/Panel Front Door 

-

the 3 connectors

-

the 3 screws

-

the lift mechanism motor.

Installation

Note! For tightening torques, see Specifcations.  See: Specifications

Installing the electric motor for the power window

Install:

-

the lift mechanism motor

-

the 3 M6 screws. Tighten

-

the 3 connectors

-

the door panel.  See: Front Door Panel/Service and Repair/Panel Front Door 

Ordering software

Note! The control modules must be programmed after changing lift mechanism motor.
