Front Cross-Member Bushing: Service and Repair

Bushing sub-frame front, replacing 

Special tools: 999 7054, 999 7034, 999 7132, 999 7131, 999 7030, 999 7134, 999 7133, 999 7138, 999 7137

Preparatory work

Remove the wheel. Remove the sub-frame. 

Removal
Removing front sub-frame bushing

Press the control arm into place. Install the hydraulic cylinder. Use: 999 7054 with: 999 7034, nut M12: 999 7132, socket: 999 7131 and drift: 999
7130. Pull the bushing out.

Removing rear sub-frame bushing 

Press the control arm into place. Install the hydraulic cylinder. Use: 999 7054 with: 999 7034, nut M12: 999 7132, socket: 999 7136 and drift: 999
7135 Pull the bushing out.

Installation
Installing the front sub-frame bushing

Install the hydraulic cylinder. Use: 999 7054 with: 999 7034, nut: 999 7132, socket: 999 7134, lock ring: 7134-1 and ring: 999 7133.
Pull in the bushing until it is centered in the control arm. Pull the bushing in approximately halfway and then remove: 999 7134.
