Disconnecting the battery lead

Ignition off.
Disconnect the battery negative cable. See: See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Procedures/Battery, Disconnecting

Removing the collision sensor B-post

Remove:

the B-post panel. See: B-pillar trim panel See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/B-Pillar Trim Panel
