Preparatory work
Disconnecting the battery negative lead
Caution! The driver information module (DIM) must not be replaced at the same time. This would erase the mileage.
Note! Automatic alarms to the emergency services can be triggered if the vehicle is fitted with Volvo On Call.

Removal
Removing the passenger side soundproofing panel
Remove:

the 2 clips
-
the soundproofing panel. Pull straight down, then backwards.
