Preparatory work
Removing components
Remove:

the transmission control module (TCM). See: Transmission Control Module (TCM) See: Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement/Automatic Transmission Components/Transmission Control Module (TCM)

the control system cover. See: Cover, control system See: Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Fluid Pan/Service and Repair.
Removal
Removing the cable harness
Remove:
-
the connectors for the solenoid valves
-
the screw for the oil temperature sensor holder. Detach the sensor from the control system
-
the cable harness from the holders on the control system
-
the cable harness.
Installation

Checking the seal for the cable harness
Check that the seal for the cable harness connector is fault free and in position.
