NOTE:   Measure the distance between arm and endstop according to the illustration. Note the distance, approx. 3.5 mm.

Remove:

-

the nut

-

the lever, bend with a screwdriver.

Remove:

-

the screws, 3 pcs. M6 for the motor

-

the motor.

Installation

Installing motor

Fit the connector on the motor.

Set the motor in parking position.

Turn on the windshield wipers and turn them off again, with the ignition on. When the motor reaches parking position, turn off the ignition and remove
the key.

Remove the connector.

Install:

-

the motor

-

the 3 M6 screws. Tighten

-

the lever

-

the nut, measure out the distance according to note when removing. Tighten according to: Summary of tightening torques for specific components.

NOTE:  The motor may rotate when tightening the nut. Check that the arm does not move on the shaft.

Press the link arm into place.

Fit the wiper mechanism according to: Wiper mechanism, windshield.

Finishing

Function test

Check function.
