Cowl Moulding / Trim: Service and Repair

Plenum chamber

Removal

Removing the plenum chamber

Remove:

-

the windshield wipers. See  Wiper arm See: Wiper and Washer Systems/Wiper Arm/Service and Repair 

-

the 4 clips

Press the center pin down onto the clips.
Turn the 2 catches (1) anti-clockwise ¼ turn.
Lift out the cowl.

Removing the splash guard

Note! Removing protective covers applies to vehicles with the following chassis numbers:

S40 LHD -113670

S40 RHD -113793

-

V50 LHD.-113964

-

V50 RHD.-114112.

Remove the old protective cover from under the cowl using a screwdriver or similar.
