Preparatory work

Removing the center console

Removal

Removing gear selector knob and boot

Remove the gear selector lever knob. See: Knob, gear selector lever See: Knob, Gear Selector Lever.

Removing the gear selector cables

Hint: The screw on the puller is turned counter-clockwise to pull the gear selector cable loose.

Remove the gear selector cables from the ball connectors. Use: 999 7071 Puller See: Tools and Equipment/999 7071 Puller.
