Volvo V70 workshop manuals
Volvo V70 at a glance: 14 manuals, covering 1998 to 2008 models, with engines from 2.3 to 3.2 litres.
About the V70
The V70 was Volvo's large estate from 1996 to 2016, over three generations. V stands for versatility and 70 for its size in the range. The first generation (P80 platform) was the estate version of the S70, itself a facelifted 850; the second (2000) moved to the P2 platform and the third (2007) to the P3. Each offered all-wheel drive, and the raised Cross Country version became the XC70 for 2003.
What these manuals cover
- 1998–2000 (first generation): the 2.4-litre five-cylinder with and without a turbo, the 2.3 turbo of the T5, and the AWD and XC models.
- 2001–2006 (second generation): the 2.4, 2.4 turbo and 2.5 turbo fives, with front- or all-wheel drive.
- 2008 (third generation): the 3.2-litre straight-six.
Tip: the code at the end of each title is Volvo's engine code (B5254T is a petrol five-cylinder, 2.5 litres, four valves per cylinder, turbo); the Volvo page explains how to read it.
