Fold up the insulation panel so to access the ground terminal in the rear seat

Take the power supply cable for the CD changer from the kit. Connect the ground lead to the front ground terminal (1) in the rear seat. Tighten to
10 Nm (7 lbf.ft.)

Route the DIN cable and the power supply cable to the right-hand side of the air duct (2), under the wiring. Continue up along the left-hand side of
the wheel arch and to the left-hand side of the rear crossmember. See the illustration.
Applies to cars from model year 2005- (V70 CH 459000-, XC70 CH 173000-)

Take the cable (1) for power supply from the kit. Connect the ground lead to the existing ground terminal behind the battery. Tighten the screw.
Tighten to 10 Nm (7 lbf.ft.). Position the red/white (R/W) single cables (2) and the two green connectors (2) by the rear fuse holder

Route the cable harness on the left-hand side of the cable duct. The cable with the blue connector (3) must be routed to the pre-routed connector
for the DIN cable.
Installing and connecting the CD changer

Check that the catches (1, 2) point towards the mark V, (vertical position). If not, move the catches to mark V.
