Disconnect the upper and lower steering column cover

Remove the two screws (1)

Hold the covers apart. Remove the lever. This will not be used again.
Installing, the trip computer control

Install the new lever (1) in position

Tighten the lever using the two screws

Push the upper steering column cover down over the two levers. Ensure that the two rubber boots (2) align with the cut out in the steering column
cover.
Finishing work

Push the upper and lower steering column cover together (1) until the lock hooks securely into each other. At the same time adjust so that they
align in the cut out for the lower cover

Reinstall the three screws. Tighten the three screws

Position the steering wheel in the uppermost position by moving the adjustment lever upwards.
