SERVICE CAMPAIGN 108 DESCRIPTION
Volvo Cars of North America, LLC and Volvo Cars of Canada Ltd. have determined that an upgrade is required on the keyless remote
controls of certain model year 2001 S60, V70, V70XC and S80 vehicles.
The buttons on the keyless remote control may intermittently malfunction. In some instances, the buttons on the keyless remote control may
stick in the active position. This condition could result in unintended or prolonged activation of one of the keyless remote control functions.
If this occurs, the driver can always lock / unlock or start the car by using the ignition key.
To ensure proper operation, the keyless remote controls need to be upgraded with a new rubber gasket and buttons. Service Campaign 108
covers the upgrade of two keyless remote controls. This repair should not be performed unless BOTH keyless remote controls accompany
