Insert the wiring through the hole in the new steering wheel

Carefully install the new steering wheel by holding it straight and aligning the locating pins (1) on the contact reel

Remove the screw from the contact reel. Reinstall the screw in the holder. (See point Leather steering wheel See: ).

Insert the wiring through the hole in the vibration damper (1) if applicable. Install the vibration damper using the screw in the steering wheel (see
point Leather steering wheel See: ). Tighten the screw. Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lbf.ft.).
Note! Take care with the SRS (supplemental restraint system) wiring.

Connect the connectors for SRS (supplemental restraint system)

Connect the other connectors

Reinstall the steering wheel module on the new steering wheel. Check that no wiring is trapped.
