Compress:
^
the spring. Ensure that the spring is correctly positioned in the claw
^
the spring until it releases from the upper seat.
Note!
Note the locations of the components. This will make reinstallation easier.
Remove:
^
the dust cover
^
the nut. Use socket 9995500 and wrench 9995758
^
the upper mounting for the spring strut
^
the bearing
^
the upper spring seat
^
the spring
^
the bump stop and the dust boot.
Release the spring.
Remove the spring, note the position of the spring.
Checking components

Remove the bump stop from the dust boot. Check all components for wear. Replace as necessary.
Installing the spring

Note!
The color code on the spring must be downwards towards the spring strut.
Install:
^
the rubber liner on the underside
^
the spring.
Install claw 9512914 over as many spring coils as possible.
Ensure that the spring is correctly positioned in the claw. Compress the spring.
