Pull out the clutch cylinder slightly from the firewall.
If necessary:Remove the pipe from its clip at the firewall.
Remove the lock in the clutch cylinder
Use a weatherstrip tool 981 4071 STRAIGHTENING TOOL See: Tools and Equipment/981 4071 Straightening Tool. Press the reverse of the lock (see
illustration) so that it comes out slightly. Then remove the lock using a small screwdriver.
Place paper underneath in case of brake fluid leakage.
Removing the master cylinder
Pull out and lift up the master cylinder. Rotate it half a turn.
Remove the clamp around the rubber hose. Disconnect the hose from the master cylinder.
Place paper underneath in case of brake fluid leakage.
Remove the cylinder.
