Remove the gear lever mounting (2).

Pull the black spring tensioner (1) backward and out.

Push the mechanical cable to one side. Lubricant the cable sleeve for the gear selector lever using a small amount of wheel bearing grease (1). Lubricate
the ball and ball holder using silicon grease (2) (Part No. 1161326).

Secure the mechanical cable at the lever Secure the mechanical cable using the catch. Ensure that the mechanical cable is secure and locked in place.
Press the gear selector lever into the mounting. Install the upper screws for the gear selector lever.
