Headlamp Wiper Motor: Service and Repair

Motor, headlamp wiper, replacing

Removal

Preparations

-

Switch off the ignition.

Headlamp wiper motor

-

Remove  Headlamp/bulb, replacing See: Lighting and Horns/Headlamp/Headlamp Bulb/Service and Repair/Headlamp/Bulb, Replacing 

-

Disconnect the connector for the headlamp wiper motor

-

Remove the 2 screws from the headlamp wiper motor

-

Remove the headlamp wiper motor.

Installation

Position the headlamp wiper motor

-

Install the screws. First tighten the inner screw. Then tighten the outer screw. Tighten the screws. Tighten to: 8 Nm

Connect the connector

-

Install Headlamp/bulb, replacing See: Lighting and Horns/Headlamp/Headlamp Bulb/Service and Repair/Headlamp/Bulb, Replacing.
