Wiper mechanism, windshield, replacing

Removal

Preparations

-

Check that the wiper motor is in the parked position. Switch on the ignition. Switch the wipers on and off

-

Switch off the ignition.

Windshield wiper mechanism

-

Remove the windshield wiper arms. See Wiper arm / blade, windshield, replacing See: Wiper Arm/Service and Repair/Wiper Arm / Blade,

Remove the plenum chamber and gutter. See Cowl and gutter, replacing  See: Body and Frame/Cowl/Cowl Moulding / Trim/Service and
Repair/Cowl and Gutter, Replacing

Disconnect the 2 connectors from the wiper motor

-

Remove the screws from the mechanism. Remove the lug from the rubber bushing.

Installation

Windshield wiper mechanism

-

Lubricate the lug using a soap solution

-

Install the mechanism in the correct position
