V70 2.4T L5-2.4L Turbo VIN 58 B5244T3 (2002)
Lubricate the lip of the seal using wheel bearing grease (1161251-2) (400 grams).
Use drift 999 5591 Punch See: Tools and Equipment/999 5591 Punch. Tap in the seals to the correct depth between the drift and final drive.
Note! There are different depths for the left and right-hand sides between the flange of the drift and the final drive housing.
On the left-hand side the depth (A) must be 0.5 mm. (Measured from the surface of the hooks on the nut).
On the right-hand side the depth (B) must be 6 mm. (Seal flush with the surface of the housing).
Note! After installing the seals, install the drive shafts. See Final drive, transferring components .
