Move the gear selector lever back as far as possible

Remove the panel in front of the gear selector. First pry off the panel using a weatherstrip tool.

Detach the panel around the gear selector lever. First press in the catches at the front edge. First lift at the front edge and then at the rear edge.

Remove the two screws in the dashboard environment panel.
