The illustration shows the gear selector boot and panel for the Geartronic automatic gearbox, but the instructions apply to all automatic
gearboxes

Insert a narrow screwdriver in between the boot and the gear selector lever knob to gain access to the locking sleeve

-

Carefully bend the screwdriver forwards to release the locking sleeve from the gear selector lever knob.

Note! The locking sleeve can be re-used if it is not damaged.
