Pull up the panel with the boot towards the gear selector lever knob

Pull the locking sleeve up to the gear selector lever knob. Turn the locking sleeve slightly so that the guide (1) inside the locking sleeve is correctly
positioned on the notch (2) on the gear selector lever knob

Pull the locking sleeve until it locks. Check that the locking sleeve is securely mounted on the gear selector lever knob. Pull the gear selector lever
knob to check that it is securely mounted

Lower the panel. Press the panel into place in the centre console.

Pry off the rear edge of the gear selector lever cover together with the boot until the two clips release. Use a plastic weatherstrip tool. Remove the
gear selector lever cover and the boot

Then pull the panel up until the four clips at the sides release.
