Replacing tailgate lock mechanism and lock button
This Service Bulletin is complementary to Service Manual Section 8(82-86, 88), Interior, exterior S70/V70 1998- and applies only to Volvo V70 1998-
with a lock button for the tailgate.

Tailgate panel
Removal
Remove frame with a weatherstrip tool or similar.
Install a piece of card to protect the panel
Push a piece of card, approximately 180 x 100 mm (7" x 4"), between the upper and lower panel on both sides.
This is to protect the upper panel when the lower panel is slid out.
