19. Reconnect universal joint to steering gear Tighten bolt to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.). Install locking spring.
20. Reconnect torque rod to engine torque arm. Use new bolt and locknut.
a. M8. Tighten to 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.) and through further 120°.
b. M10. Tighten to 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.) and through further 90°.
