Console: Service and Repair
AFC1. Ignition Off and Disconnect the Negative Lead from the Battery:
Make a note of any radio code.
AFC2. Removal of Panels and Cover:
Remove:

The seat cushion, refer to See: Seats
-
2 screws at the rear edge of the tunnel compartment.

The coin compartment.
-
2 switches and accompanying connectors from the rear electric lifts.
-
the handbrake panel.
-
the cover from the storage compartment.
-
the storage compartment together with 2 switches and accompanying connectors for electrically heated seats from the front of the tunnel
compartment.
AFC3. Removal of Screws and Connectors:
Remove:
-
2 screws below the cover in the storage compartment.
