Sunroof / Moonroof Cable: Service and Repair

REPLACING CABLE

Replacing cable 1

Remove:

-

Sun roof. See: Service and Repair

-

Electric motor. See: Sunroof / Moonroof Motor/Service and Repair

-

Bracket, circlip and screw (B)

Slide mechanism forwards to access the cable holder.

Replacing cable 2

-

3 cable holder mounting screws

Carefully lift cable holder straight up

Note:  Do not bend the cable holder sideways.

Replacing cable 3

Slide mechanism ahead (forward) to expose the cable
Pull cable out of cable sleeve

Install:

In reverse order.
