Install:

-

the handle.

-

lock cylinder link rod.

-

tailgate opener link rod.

4 nuts. When installing the handle it is important that the handle is pressed forwards / upwards and that both the center nuts are tightened first. It is
important that the pressure on the handle is maintained throughout the tightening.

Tighten both the center nuts first.

Then tighten both the outer screws.

Install the license plate lighting connector.

Reinstall the wiper unit.

Function check: lock, lighting and tailgate wiper.

Function test

Leak test the tailgate handle

Test the seal by flushing the rear windshield with a water hose so that the water runs down over the tailgate handle for at least 2 minutes.
